From assistance to fully autonomous

    Manual with assistance

    The operator steers; the system supports with information.

  2. We start here

    Level 2

    Semi-autonomous

    The system detects, computes a course and advises. The human always decides.

  3. Level 3

    Autonomous with human oversight

    The system operates on its own; the human supervises and intervenes.

  4. Level 4

    Fully autonomous

    The system operates entirely on its own without human intervention.

We deliberately start at Level 2. Safety first. The human always stays in the loop.
