For shipbuilders and yards

Build autonomy into every vessel you deliver

You build the vessel, we supply the brain. With our autonomy module you offer every customer an unmanned or semi-autonomous variant, without years of in-house development. Retrofit or new build, any size, any propulsion.

Become a partner

Tell us which vessels you build and we'll book a call about the integration. We reply within 2 working days.

Why partner with us

The next generation of vessels is not only well built, but smart

We believe autonomy on the water becomes the standard, the way driver assistance did in cars. Rescue services, ports, water authorities, offshore and defence ask for it in their tenders more and more often. Whoever can deliver it gets a seat at the table.

Developing autonomy yourself takes years and specialists who are scarce. We already have that brain. You build what you do best: the vessel. Together we deliver a craft that sees, computes and advises, fully under the operator's command.

What you gain

Four reasons to add the brain to your range

01

Autonomy as an option on your price list

Offer an autonomous or unmanned variant of every design. One module, no separate product line. You sell more per hull and win the customers who only buy smart from now on.

02

No in-house development programme

Sensor fusion, AI navigation, communication and the operator console: that brain is ours. You don't need to build a team of autonomy specialists to compete in tomorrow's market.

03

New revenue from the fleet you already delivered

Every boat you ever built can get a second life as a sea drone. A retrofit is a reason to sit down with your customers again, with a concrete offer.

04

Win tenders together

Tenders from government, defence, ports and rescue services increasingly ask for unmanned capability. We write the autonomy part with you and stand next to you in the bid.

Division of roles

You the vessel, we the brain

A clear split: you stay the owner of the vessel and the customer, we own the autonomy. No overlap, no double work.

You deliver

What you already do best: the vessel.

  • Hull, propulsion and the build
  • Installation at the yard, using our integration specifications
  • Class, survey and certification of the vessel
  • Sales, customer relationship and service

We deliver

Everything that lets the vessel see, compute and decide.

  • The brain: sensor fusion, AI decision module, navigation engine and communication
  • The integration design: sensor placement, power and the link to rudder and propulsion
  • The operator console and end-user training
  • Software updates and further development, also after delivery

How integration works

From drawing to ready-to-sail in three steps

Whether it's a new hull or a boat that has been sailing for twenty years, the process is the same.

  1. 1

    Intake and design

Together we look at the vessel and the end customer's mission. For a new build we join at the drawing board; for a retrofit we start from the existing steering system.

  2. 2

    Installation and integration

Sensors, compute unit and communication go on board. The brain connects to rudder and propulsion through standard interfaces, whatever sits under the hood.

  3. 3

    Test and deliver

First in simulation on the digital model of the vessel, then on the water. You deliver a ready-to-sail vessel with autonomy configured and the operator trained.

Which vessels

From RIB to small coaster

The brain is a module, not a boat. It scales with whatever you build.

Diesel, electric, hybrid or waterjet: all of it works.

  • RIBs and fast rescue boats
  • Workboats and pushboats
  • Patrol and surveillance craft
  • Survey vessels
  • Tenders and small coasters
  • New unmanned platforms designed around the brain

Open and European

Standard interfaces, your data, Dutch design

We believe in open systems, not vendor lock-in. The brain works with a standard API and connectors, so your sensors and your platform stay yours. Designed, built and supported in the Netherlands: a European partner for government and defence, with no dependence on overseas suppliers.

Questions from yards

Frequently asked questions about integration at the yard

Do I need to change my design for the brain?
Only a little. The brain is a module: compute unit, sensors and communication. For a new build we reserve space, power and sensor positions on the drawing. For a retrofit we connect to the existing steering and propulsion through standard interfaces.
Does it work with any propulsion?
Yes. Diesel, electric, hybrid or waterjet: the brain controls rudder and engine through standard interfaces. Size doesn't matter either, from RIB to small coaster.
Who installs the system?
Your yard, with our integration design and guidance. We supply the module and the installation specifications, and we are present during commissioning and tests.
Who is responsible for what?
The brain, the software and the updates are our product. The vessel remains your product. Warranty, service and liability are agreed per project. Level 2 means the end customer's operator always gives the command.
Can I offer the brain under my own brand?
That's open for discussion. You sell the vessel with autonomy as an option, we supply the brain. How we present that to the end customer is agreed per partnership.
What about class and regulation?
The vessel stays under your class and survey regime. Because at Level 2 the operator makes every decision, the process with classification and inspection bodies stays manageable. We supply the system documentation needed for it.
